Dr. Naqvi earned his medical degree from Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan, and moved to New York soon after. He completed his family medicine residency with New York Medical College at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Yonkers, New York.

For his emergency medicine fellowship, Dr. Naqvi attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He completed a second fellowship in undersea and hyperbaric medicine and wound care at Philadelphia’s prestigious University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Naqvi was appointed to the faculty of Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine at the University of Tennessee in Memphis and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. He was also appointed visiting faculty for the Harvard Medical School-sponsored program at Indus Hospital and Health Network in Karachi, Pakistan.
